Obsessed? Maybe A Little.

Today was pretty good. Not completely normal but not abnormal. I woke at about 7:30 and just played on my computer, playing on Facebook and GPX I also tried playing some more Pokemon Stadium 2. Have I mentioned that game is evil? Cause it is. I can't seem to win. I gave up on Challenge Cup Master Ball and went for Poke Cup Great Ball. I did well and got 4 continues till I got to the second to last battle. No matter what I did, I couldn't win and it shredded all my continues then shredded me. It was so frustrating and I soon had to stop and do something else. I wanted to play Naruto after that but I had to wait as crops were almost done on Farmville so I clicked Pokemon on GPX while listening to music while I waited. Once I took care of my farm, I went to play Naruto.

I really didn't fare well on this game today. I only tried to get first place on survival but I couldn't even get past 20 wins. I tried almost every character I am capable of playing that aren't my sister's specific favorites. That became frustrating so I at some hot dogs for lunch, tried a little longer, then shut it off.

I didn't have much to do after that so, I'm not certain what triggered it now, but I decided I wanted to watch Pokemon from the very first episode. I thought about how I always hated not seeing it on TV when I was little and having You Tube now-a-days, I can watch anything. So I did, I watched through episode 4 before my mom came into my room and asked about supper. I was watching a really weird episode thing though. It wasn't part of the series but was for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. I think I will never watch anything like it again. It was painfully bizarre. My mom left and I finished watching it at it only had 4 min left, of course before that time was up my mom came back to say something about supper. Not sure if she was just wanting a confirmation about something or thought I wasn't planning to get up to make it and wanted to remind me she was hungry and wanted me to cook. I explained I had 3 min left on the show and wanted to finish it. She understood and as soon as it was over I went to cook.

My sister didn't come home from school on normal time as she had band practice till late so my mom and I made supper for just us. It was great. We had Tilapia seasoned the way I decided to. I didn't use a recipe, I didn't feel like taking the time to do so so I just used common sense and put together a lemon, garlic, butter sauce. The garlic was diced as small as I could make it, which was pretty small. The butter was typical butter and was melted before being added to the mix. I added a slight bit of salt to the sauce as well. I didn't take exact measurements of the ingredients, I just eyeballed them and made an amount that looked appropriate for the amount of fish.

I washed the 6 fish fillets and after drying them each off I placed them gently in a lightly greased baking dish and I rubbed a bit of curry powder on the topsides of the fish then drizzled the butter sauce on top of them. They baked for less than 30 min I'm sure, 20 maybe. We forgot to set a timer so we just watched it carefully. I was very proud of this dish and I thought it was good. The lemon was not over powering. It was there but it was faint, but not too faint. My mom really liked it so it made me very happy especially after the disaster with scampi just the night before. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and my mom and I both agreed it was much better than the other two times I had made this so I think I am getting better. I think I will do this same butter sauce again when we make this another time. Although I think I might try making a little more. It added great flavor to the fish while maintaining the ability to taste the fish so in my opinion it was perfect. Of course, I guess I would think so it being my cooking, although I'm about as critical about my cooking as I am my art and if it's anything less than what I know my best is, then I am typically not happy with it.

While my mom and I ate we watched Ghost Whisperer. It was a very creepy episode. End of story. It wasn't brand new, we had it recorded for quite some time and just never got around to watching it. We debated about whether we wanted to watch Medium after that and we ended up deciding to do so. That episode was unusually creepy as well. It was interesting, but it creeped me out royally. After that, my mom returned to her room and Leighanna and I watched a little of America's Funniest Videos before I grew bored and went to my room to watch one more episode of Pokemon for the night then turned to work on this blog seeing as it still needed to be done prior to, well about now.

So anywho, I think I'm gonna go on to bed now. I'm pretty tired. I apologize for the short post but I'm rather tired and it's making me feel a little disoriented and weird as I'm typing this. Goodnight all!
