Neiflheim Sucks

Had a pretty normal day today. I woke up, played on my computers, I didn't play Pokemon Ruby a whole lot though. I was too preoccupied with my spriting stuff. I was a good girl and despite not wanting to I put away the dry dishes and washed those in the sink. I even came back a little later and put those I washed away once they were dry. I should have done more but that's all I felt like doing. Better than nothing I guess but not spectacular work.

Watched TV a good bit till my sis got home and after she got herself a bath we decided to play some more Symphonia, although we didn't end up playing until after Stroganoff was done cooking and we finished eating. When we had, we started the game and tried to get through Neiflheim once more. It wasn't easy and we only hoped we wouldn't have to redo it. We beat the Hell Knight fairly well, we still ended up in one of our usual struggles to survive just before finally winning. Unfortunately it came too soon and Genis was KOed at the end of the fight so he didn't get the experience. My sis and I were mad as it was Presea who claimed the last hit and I was not playing her as I was trying to keep on top of healing with Raine but Presea decided to end the battle all too soon. Even though this put Genis behind we were not willing to restart the dungeon. We decided we would train him up with a Demon Seal and Krona Symbol once we got out and could get to Mithos's castle, that is, if we survived Neiflheim.

Luckily we didn't run into another floor like we did the last time we went through there and we had somewhere over 1100 soulfire which allowed us to fight the Living Armor. At first this guy seemed like cake to fight but we soon ended up in yet another struggle to survive. It was so bad, we ended up having to use our last all-divide to defeat him as we were tired of trying to beat Neiflheim and just wanted it done with. The all-divide did help although our struggle continued for awhile. When we finally won, we were lucky to have everyone alive for the experience count. We saved promptly after finishing the dungeon.

Having a little time left before my sister had to go straiten her hair, we decided to take on Abyssion, confident we could win without an all-divide since when we had let him kill us at a lower level it seemed to take him awhile to do so although this battle today put us in another struggle to survive but it took less time to climb out of than the others and we pummeled him on the first try. Really, all these fights we would have been up a creek without a paddle if my sis wasn't able to use healing spells and if I was unable to switch between Raine and Presea at the correct times to win. And neither one of us could have pulled off these fights without the other.

After beating Abyssion we had little time left before my sister wanted to quit so we tried powering up the Devil's Arms by defeating monsters. I saw no increase at all as we fought although right before we quit I tried the Gaia Cleaver out again to see how much it does in comparison to Disaster, Presea's Devil's Arm and the Devil's Arm did aproximately 1400 each hit and the Gaia Cleaver only about 900. I was shocked at this, it was already more powerful than her Gaia Cleaver although it was like that before I started trying to power it up. Weird though since the stat increase does not show on the stats page for the character so it looks super weak. I have also discovered, that Presea's Devil's Arm, Diablos, looks a lot like the head of a Hollow from the show Bleach. It's really creepy and it's mouth moves.

That about wraps it up for tonight. Straight after turning off the game I came in here and checked on my computer stuff then started typing away here. Anyway, goodnight!
