Over a month now.

Well it's been over a month since I have last been here. I suppose I should probably post here a bit more often. I've just been far too lazy to do so. I think I will try to post more often though most likely not every day. Recently I have bought myself a couple of games for the Wii. I got Super Smash Bros Brawl and Okami. both are really awesome games. Since I bought it on eBay I managed to get Brawl for $20.50. Of course, this was only possible by the fact I stayed up till 2 in the morning waiting for the auction to end. All other lots I found for this game had sold for over $25, most going for over $30. Okami I got for about $12 but unfortunately when I got it the case was broken and cracked and the disk scratched up. Luckily the game runs perfectly and when I complained to the seller about the case they were prompt to offer to send me a new case free. I just hope this one doesn't end up cracked. I don't know what I will do if that happens.

Other than that, I have been trying to sell some of my stuff on eBay to get a little extra money for things that no loner interest me. At the moment I'm only selling things small and light enough to ship in a standard letter envelope, but hey, when you're selling Pokemon cards, it works. Though that will be quite some time to sell them that way as I have probably about 600 cards to sell but I guess I'm not in too much a rush.

My sister and I have really enjoyed playing Brawl. It escapes my comprehension as to why so many people selling the game on eBay played it once or twice then decided to get rid of it. Oh well. Okami is a bit of a strange game but the graphics are very beautiful, in my opinion, and the gameplay very addicting. Really, get past the weird characters and the random stupidity and it's really a pretty good story and fun to play. At first I was afraid I was going to dislike it as I wasn't used to it and I felt disappointed, but obviously as I kept playing I got used to it and I really love it.

I also have a new phone now. It's a touchscreen phone called the Samsung Reality. I wasn't ready to give up my own phone and stressed about the change but I had little choice in the matter. Verizon wouldn't let us change our plan and keep Alltel phones but we couldn't keep our Alltel plan and get Verizon phones and my sister really needed a new one. Her phone was constantly shutting itself off about 5 times every 20 seconds or so. I've gotten pretty used to my new phone now and it's pretty cool. Haven't figured out how to get games, ringtones and wallpapers downloaded to my micro SD card to work yet but I will hopefully get it going soon.

Uggh.. I think I know why I don't post here often. I get pretty mentally exhausted by the end of this. I'm sure I could post more but I'm a bit too tired to try to think of the rest. Well, cya later! Night!

Easter Cake

Ha ha.. So I haven't been here in awhile. I got tired of posting every day, especially when there was nothing really to type about. Today was good. After my mom came home from Family Retreat around 1:50ish PM, she, my sister and I all pitched in to make an Easter cake. It turned out amazing. It had 4 tiers and each one was a different color and all were easter-like colors. Bottom layer was blue-ish green, the next a dark pink, the one above that, a nice spring green, and the top was the plain cake yellow but it was marbled with all the previous colors. We put a bit of icing between the layers that tasted like a very sweet whipped cream then we iced the outside with a different, thicker icing. The top we made white while the rest of the cake we colored a very beautiful light blue. On the top of the cake we put a blood-red colored cross and in blue I wrote the words "He arose". It was so amazing looking at it and we got plenty of pics.

My other sis, Lindsay got a piece while she was visiting but my mom, sister and I were not hungry at the time and we did not get out piece until after we were done watching the movie "50 first dates." The movie was really cute and really funny, although I could have done without some of the, bit disturbing comments and the like. The piece of cake I got was small but I felt kinda sick once I finished it. Way too much icing I think. Well, I did eat a bit of the icing earlier from the bowl when we were done icing. The icing was good, I just get sick easily with stuff like that.

I think that about does it for now. Cya later! Night!

OMG! Yay Yay Yay!

Okay so today I'm EXTREMELY excited! I ordered Pokemon Soul Silver a little over a week ago and it's already come in the mail! I didn't expect to get it so quickly since my payment cleared just last Friday. Btw, that temp post for Friday, i'm not going to do anything about. I may delete it as I don't have enough things to talk about that I can think of. As you can also tell, I've gotten where I don't post every day. From now on, I'm only going to post on days I have something of relative importance to say. Mostly because I just missed yesterday cause I completely forgot and I don't feel like backdating a post.

So anyway. I had no clue the game came in today for a good portion of the day. I was just playing Spore and listening to music and I didn't discover the package until I was setting up to play Naruto on the Wii and I was throwing cats out so I didn't have to worry about them chewing my sensor bar cable. It confused me at first and I assumed it was a package for my mom or something as I really wasn't expecting my game just yet. Once I saw my name labeled on it, I was fairly certain it had to be it as I've not bought anything else since then and it even had an Ebay logo on it. I wasn't about to wait a second to open the package so I ran to my room and cut it open. Despite my excitement I was rather tentative to pull the flaps up to see the inside as I was afraid of it not being it. Well I wasn't disappointed, obviously, and my mood just skyrocketed. I still can't believe I actually have it. It seems all just like a REALLY good dream.

So yeah, I've basically been playing with that the whole day after getting it. I've even tried the Pokewalker out which I, oddly enough, find to be the coolest little device I've ever gotten. I don't know why, but being able to pull a Pokemon from my game and put it into a small device I can easily carry with me then put the Pokemon back any time I want is just the coolest thing ever. This is the most fun I've had with a Pokemon game in, well, probably in all of my Pokemon history! It was well worth my money!

Heh, so yeah. I'm carrying my Pokewalker EVERYwhere I go. I just can't set it down even when I'm not playing the actual game. I love having a Pokemon with me, plus I get to catch Pokemon and get items. Okay so I basically used this whole post to rant about this game. But can you blame me? I'm excited and this game is even cooler than I expected!

Anywho, I'ma go before I find something else to go nuts blathering on about with this game. Night all!

New Night Light

Yeah okay. Go ahead. Laugh. I don't care. I really don't like sleeping in pitch darkness, not because I'm afraid, but I just don't like having my eyes open and not being able to see. Well, yesterday I mentioned I got one of those little lawn lights. I couldn't resist it. I just love solar-voltaic things.

Well, my day pretty much just consisted of doing whatever, creating XANA monsters on Spore, watching a movie, and even eating some homemade "snack pack". Yeah, that was fun though. I never expected it. I was banished from going into the kitchen for a while this afternoon while they made it. Of course at the time I didn't know that. It didn't bother me, I was happily creating a Kankrelat on Spore while they did it. They got it into the fridge to set up and while it did, we watched a movie. The movie was Nim's Island and it was pretty cute. We ate the pudding when we were done with the movie. It tasted great. Of course, I love dark chocolate and it was VERY rich. I had a glass of milk to go with it. Even though it was thin and soupy, it was perfect.

After that I went back to my room and had completely forgotten that I had my lawn light in a pot next to my bed. I had problems getting the activation tag out as it had torn but I managed to unscrew the cap and open it up to get the rest out. I was so amazed by the light it was giving out. It wasn't very bright at all. It cast a very pleasing, gentle blue light. I think it will be perfect for a "night light". This is good because I have been keeping my closet light on at night and I'm sure that hasn't been so great for the electric bill. At least this way I won't have to buy batteries either or have to worry about burning out any light bulbs. It's so pretty! ^.^

Well, that's it. Night!

Dissapointed

Well. Today I was supposed to get to see some of Tyler's robot competition. Unfortunately I didn't get to. Most of the time Tyler was unavailable and the one time he was there we got to chat only a short while on video but the quality was crappy and Tyler never showed me the robot. Recently it's been so hard to talk to him. I just don't understand. I'll be trying to talk to him, then he'll disappear without warning. And when he does give a warning, he says "brb quick" or that he won't be long, but it's several hours before he returns. I have faith that he isn't doing this on purpose but I can't help but to feel sad. I don't know why this is happening. I just hope he hasn't lost interest in me. I suppose there's nothing I can do if he has. I'm sure I'm over reacting as I always do, but it worries me.

Tonight we watched the movie "Knowing". It was pretty good but it left me with a weird feeling. I think I can live without seeing it again.

I can't think of anything else to say tonight. I can't think of much of anything except trying to get a hold of Tyler so I'm going to end this post here and try to do just that.

Goodnight everyone.

Not Much

Not much happened again today. I worked almost constantly on my fan fic while listening to Code Lyoko episodes. As is almost always my routine, I cooked supper tonight. Shrimp scampi, as we almost always have. It did better tonight. I think it helped that I put a little oil in the water for the noodles. I added a little bit of butter to the sauce. Honestly, I don't think it made much difference so I think I'll leave it out from now on. It was really good, as always.

I've been talking to Tyler tonight and he said he has some kind of robot competition tomorrow. I'm not sure if it has to do with the school or not but he wants me to "go". What he means is he wants me online so he can show me the competition via a video chat. I didn't know about it till tonight, at least not that I remember but I hope I get to see the competition. I mostly want to because Tyler wants me there and I definitely want to make him happy. Not that I don't want to see the competition in the first place.

Well, that's about all. Night!

Fan Fic Writing

Today I have been working really hard to make some progress on my fan fic. Of course, I haven't been able to make any forward progress as I've decided to update my current "episodes" to make sure they are still good after all this time. The one needing the most work is the first but I don't know about the second or third. The third isn't even finished and I have a lot more to go before it's actually finished. I would stop working on it and try writing something original, but I would feel like a failure if I stopped in the middle. Besides, I'm still interested in writing this fan fiction.

I've really managed so much of my progress by the fact I've been sorta watching some Code Lyoko episodes while I work. I say sorta watch as most of the time I'm just listening to them and glancing periodically.

During the day I did stop to put up the dishes or to take a small break and walk around outside. It was really nice out. Not too hot, not too cold.

Well. I think I'm going to take a break from the computers for a little and go eat something before returning to my writing. I really forget how much I do sorta enjoy it, but writer's block is never fun and I get that often.

Anywho! Goodnight!
